In today's market, especially in New Jersey, many people have given up on finding the next great deal in real estate. But all you have to do is compare Hunterdon County New Jersey in the 1980s to Warren County New Jersey today to understand the great potential still available in the state.

Back in the 80s, Hunterdon County was still considered by many to be a rural backwater. Few of the county's villages had been renovated and new developments were just starting to go up.  Places like Lambertville, Frenchtown, and Flemington were pleasant but somewhat lackluster-- you might drive through to check out an antique store or grab lunch but that's about it.  Now, those towns, and many others in Hunterdon, offer multitudes of restaurants and shops, house and garden tours, festivals, and more.  Tourists arrive in droves and plan entire days around Hunterdon's exquisite villages.  

Today, Warren County is in a similar position. Three major interstates (Routes 78, 80 and 22) connect Warren County with all points in northern New Jersey and New York and the express bus to Manhattan stops in the southern part of the county.  The southern section also includes many well known stores providing easy access to shopping and services.  Farther north, the landscape is more rural.  Suburbs give way to large tracts of undeveloped land, farmhouses, and quaint villages, many of which are just now being discovered.  Even better, the entire western edge of Warren County borders the Delaware River offering many recreational opportunities.

It only takes one drive through the area to see the pristine nature and the potential of Warren County whether you want small town charm, new construction, or country acreage.
