Warren County New Jersey

Do you dream of the Connecticut Back Country with its charming towns, impressive homes, miles of stone walls, and laid back charm?  Are you priced out of more expensive towns in Morris, Somerset and Hunterdon Counties? 

This town of about 12 square miles is centered around a former Moravian village with impressive stone buildings now converted into businesses.  Charming homes and shops are clustered around Hope Township's historic crossroads, where one of the stone mills has been turned into an inn and restaurant. Outside of the village, the landscape is filled with rolling hills, meadows, livestock and beautiful homes of all ages--from 1700s farmhouses to up-to-the-minute contemporaries.  And the Delaware Water 
Gap National Recreation Area with miles of hiking trails and 
river access is only a few miles outside of town.

This is a town of some fame in New Jersey--many people have heard of it and regard it highly but have never actually been through it (except on the interstate highway, Route 80 that crosses its northern border).   

The occasional fixer-upper does come on the market but most properties are well kept and usually include more land than you might be used to in other parts of New Jersey.
