Phillipsburg, New Jersey

Hoboken, Lambertville, Morristown, Red Bank, Ridgewood....over the past 20 years, many New Jersey towns have reversed their decline
and become vibrant places in which to live, to work and to visit.  After 15 years of hard work, it seems as though Phillipsburg is about to turn the corner and join the ranks of New Jersey's great small cities.

The state has identified Phillipsburg as the future home of the New Jersey Transportation Heritage Center.  And although the legislation to make it official is still in limbo, investors are banking on Phillipsburg's future. Several restaurants have established homes in Phillipsburg including Sugar, Zoota, and Dona Pintata.  Buildings in the Union Square downtown district are either already renovated or in the process.  The Belvidere Delaware Train has begun excursions starting from Market Street, just next to Sugar, and heading down the Delaware River to Carpentersville in Pohatcong.

If you are an investor or just someone looking for great investment potential--you need to get yourself to Phillipsburg as soon as possible!  There are so many reasons to consider Phillipsburg:

  • Extremely quick access to Routes 78 and 22

  • Direct frontage on the Delaware River

  • Amazingly well preserved 19th Century architecture

  • Downtown revitalization already underway

  • Potential future home of the NJ Transportation Heritage Center

  • Weekend train excursions down the Delaware River

  • Many upscale and family restaurants throughout town

  • Local businesses only charge 3% sales tax

  • Robust building facade improvement program

Phillipsburg today is strikingly similar to Lambertville before it took
off as the restaurant, shopping and living destination it is now.
