If there is a part of the New York
Metropolitan area that still retains its rural charm, the western end of
Morris County is it.
Long Valley, which is in the southwestern
corner of the county
just north of Route 78 and West of Route 287, offers sweeping hillside
views, small undisturbed villages, quiet country roads and a multitude of
parks and farms. Development has crept in and there are many newer
homes throughout the township offering many home buying options. But the
villages remain intact and
several farms still offer opportunities to get out in the country.
Shopping is available close by at and
around the Bridgewater Commons, as well as along Route 206 and Route 46.
