After growing up in Rhode Island, I landed
in New Jersey when
I started at Rutgers University in 1985. Since graduating with a degree in English,
I have lived in Hudson, Middlesex, Morris, Somerset and Warren Counties New Jersey.
After Rutgers, I worked for Morgan Stanley in New York as a Corporate Librarian and earned a Masters Degree in
Library Science (again from Rutgers). I then worked for Stryker,
Tams & Dill, a Newark law firm, as a Law Librarian and Deloitte &
Touche, an international accounting firm, as a Knowledge Manager, before
joining Weichert, Realtors. My ability to connect people to
solutions, whether those solutions are research, technology tools, other
people, or dream homes is the common thread running through all of my work
experience.

I've always been interested
in real estate.
Not only have
I purchased and sold 5
properties in New Jersey, I
spend
my spare time looking
through the real estate
databases, researching
and comparing
homes for
sale, keeping informed of
industry news and trends,
and checking
out internet
real estate resources.

I also have a strong interest in American
history, especially local New Jersey and Pennsylvania history. I am Vice President and
a founding member of my
town's History and Heritage Society and I am currently working on placing my
village on the National Register of Historic Places.

I live in the 1830's S.B.
Fine House, a Georgian-
style stone house in an
historic
river village. I was
awarded the 2003 Warren
County Historic
Preservation Award for my
restoration efforts which
included
restoring the |
| stone exterior, replacing modern doors with 19th
Century ones, and using historic paint colors. Prior to my current home,
I owned a 1940s Chatham Colonial, a 1920s Morristown Colonial, and
an 1850s Gladstone Victorian Farmhouse. Work that I've done on those
homes includes converting an oil furnace to gas, removing an
underground oil tank, installing central air, rebuilding and lining
a chimney, replacing a kitchen floor, rebuilding a front porch,
renovating a bathroom and painting, painting, painting... |
